Antonio "Tony" Rosato is a fictional character from the movie The Godfather Part II, known as one of the Rosato Brothers. Along with his brother Carmine, Tony worked in Pete Clemenza's organization after Michael Corleone moved to Nevada, but was known to have ties with Hyman Roth in Miami. He is the stronger and the most intelligent of the brothers. He was portrayed by Danny Aiello. Pentangeli went to see Michael in Lake Tahoe, Nevada to kill the Rosato Brothers. Michael refused to let Pentangeli to act since Michael was in negotiations with Hyman Roth, and told Pentangli to make a truce with Tony and Carmine. Meanwhile Tony joins the Miami Organization with the Granados Family and Mangano Family in which the organization was headed by Hyman Roth. Tony takes over the Drugs and Construction businesses while Carmine, back in New York, took over the Fronts and Prostitution. When Frank Pentangeli makes a truce with Carmine at Richie's Tavern, Tony garrotes Pentangeli. Then a policeman walks into the bar and sees Frank's body on the floor. After a shootout, Pentangeli survives.
